Festive Home Styling: How to Combine Wallpaper, Flooring and Décor
Festive season, with its way of revealing. The lights come on, the guests come, and the first thing everyone knows is if the wall and the floor get along. Dark flooring won’t save a busy print. Wallpaper for walls, flooring and soft furnishings is best suited when they are all selected as a single scheme. Headquartered in Kolkata and operating for over 20 years, Excel Home Décor offers all three; hence, this guide showcases how the pieces fit together in the range.
Why Plan Walls and Floors Together?
The walls and floors in a room take up the most space, if you decide on one first, the other is limited. There is a mural along a noisy wall, which is set against a very grained floor. According to Excel Home Décor, walls should pick up a theme from the floor and not overtake it, and the next place to start is the floor. Dark floors add depth. Light floors open up a room. But first, set that tone, then think, how much pattern wallpaper for walls? Last to be decorated are the cushions.
How to Decide the Best Living Room Flooring Ideas for Festivals?
The living room gets the most use during the holidays, whether it’s from family and friends or moving furniture. The most important thing for good living room flooring ideas is durability and then aesthetics. Luxury vinyl flooring in wood and stone finishes from Prime Floors by Excel Home Décor is said to be waterproof and resistant to stains and scratches. Wood adds a cosy touch to a room, whereas stone style is applicable to a modern room. Before purchasing, note how hard the wear layer is as a room for the masses wants a more resistant wear layer.
Another way is patterned floors. Criss Cross SPC Herringbone Flooring and Chevron Herringbone HDF Laminate Flooring are movement options in a large room available in Excel’s flooring range. Other flooring options for the living room include the range of SPC floors 4.0 mm and 5.0 mm and Aquas water resistant laminate.
What Combination of Wallpaper and Flooring is Best?
The advice of Excel comes with a few good rules of thumb. For deep walnut or charcoal floors, beige, ivory or pastel walls are good. Navy, forest green or terracotta walls work well with pale oak or whitewashed floors, which are suitable for large living rooms. Walls can be accented with stone textured or earthy accent wallpaper and paired with grey, taupe or sand floors. Wood-finish vinyl would be a great choice for pairing with textured wallpaper in ivory, taupe or soft pastels, while stone-effect vinyl would complement geometric or abstract patterns.
If you want a festive scheme, then take the wallpaper for one wall (typically the back of the sofa). A jewellery toned design like Maharani’s Jewel (MJ-W-01) from the Nature’s Ragas collection, which Excel says is a tribute to ancient Tamil jewellery made from rubies and pearls in gold, would look good on top of a light oak floor. Keep the proportions in mind as well. On average, Excel recommends that 60 percent of a room be one colour, 30 percent a second, and 10 percent be statement shades. When the floor is saying, the wall is listening. If the wall is detailed, avoid adding detail to the floor.
What is the best way to customize the wallpaper online India wide?
Excel Home Décor is a company that prints custom wallpaper digitally which will allow you to change the size and colour of wallpaper, or create a wallpaper from your own photos or art. Those who wish to customize the wallpaper online in India can begin their work on the online catalogue, then move on to the measurement guide, which is available on the portal of the Excel on the internet and then select from the PVC free vinyl and fabric based wallpaper. The customised and mural ranges feature collections like Gradient Fusion and Wonder Walls, while Excel says its customised prints are made with water-based latex ink.
A mural can be sized to the wall, too, and Excel’s FAQ states that a mural can be created using your own digital design. There’s not a lot of time for festivals, so inquire about production time and delivery before ordering. Installation support and return/replacement are available for Excel.
How Do Fabrics and Décor Complete the Room?
Curtains and upholstery fabric by Excel Home Décor’s Fabrex range, available in various styles such as Jardin, Classico and Glamora. The lighter upholstery beige, ivory or pastel grey really contrasts with walnut or oak laminate. Emerald, navy, or burnt orange is a great color for a sofa to complement luxury vinyl flooring in ash grey or sand beige. A teak or walnut table to warm up white or soft grey floors. Use one element as a leader and the others as supporters, placing the brass lamps and fairy lights to last.
What To Do Before You Place Your Order?
Walls should be dry and clean and any cracks and damp areas should be repaired first. Installation instructions for luxury vinyl flooring on the Excel website require a clean, flat, dry subfloor that is not debris filled and that furniture be lifted and not dragged across the finished floor. Look at samples in evening sunlight and in daylight as a design may appear different in the home. Take a measurement before seeing a store or an enquiry.
Conclusion
When the wall and floor “agree” on a tone, the festive room is finished. Pick the floor first, then test two or three wallpaper samples against it in actual light. The easiest thing to do is to measure your living room, get samples of luxury vinyl flooring along with wallpaper from Excel Home Décor and ask how to tailor the wallpaper online India wide for your feature wall.
FAQs
Q.Which Wallpaper for Walls Suits Wood-Finish Flooring?
Excel recommends textured wallpaper for walls in subtle shades such as ivory, taupe or pastel with wood-finish vinyl. If the floor has strong grain, keep the wall understated so the two do not fight. If the floor is dark, a light, floral or metallic design can brighten the room. You can also customize wallpaper online India wide to match the floor tone before you order.
Q.Is Luxury Vinyl Flooring Suitable for a Busy Living Room?
Excel describes its luxury vinyl flooring as waterproof and resistant to stains and scratches, which suits a room with heavy foot traffic. Check the wear layer before buying and mention any moisture-prone area to the flooring specialist. Excel’s care guidance also asks you to lift furniture instead of dragging it, which protects the surface over time.
Q.Can I Customize Wallpaper Online India Wide for My Wall Size?
Yes. Excel prints custom wallpaper and murals digitally, and its online portal carries a measurement guide. Measure the wall carefully, share exact figures when you order, and confirm production and delivery time before a festival. If you want to customize wallpaper online India wide with your own photograph or artwork, ask the team first, since Excel says custom motifs are possible.
Q.How Do I Match Living Room Flooring Ideas With Existing Furniture?
Excel suggests lighter upholstery in beige, ivory or pastel grey against walnut or oak floors. For living room flooring ideas, bold sofas in emerald, navy or burnt orange suit neutral vinyl in ash grey or sand beige. White or soft grey floors welcome rich teak or walnut tables. Treat the floor as the base and add wallpaper for walls that lets one element lead.
